We are very excited to show this piece kindly sent to us by S.F from England. it is truly a gem and this type of scene is one of the rarest. (Article) My parents gave me the money to pay for the painting for a birthday present and I had already bought one of Ixer's velvet paintings of a dog from the public house on the A607, where Bob (Robert) used to display some of his work. The inn keeper gave me Robert's home telephone number in Asfordby, Leicestershire, and I made an appointment to go and see his work. I do remember meeting Lee, his son, fleetingly, he ran through the house playing and Robert asked him to behave and go out into the garden!! Out of the few oil paintings I saw, I immediately fell in love with this one as it reminded me so much of Cardigan Bay (Wales) where my grandmother lived.
